Looking to deliver practical risk and compliance management knowledge among merchants, Visa Europe recognizes the need for better education about data security in general and the PSI DSS in particular. As a European leader in electronic payment processing, Visa Europe contracted Onformonics to educate merchants on how to achieve, maintain and realise the business value of PCI DSS compliance.

In September 2010, the Visa Europe team responsible for merchant PCI DSS education in Poland was tasked with improving awareness of compliance among its merchants. Although training was available through the PCI SSC ISA program and industry events, the team found that delivery time and location options were limited. The flexibility to modify content for the local markets in these sessions was insufficient to achieve Visa Europe’s objectives on time and within budget. The Onformonics training sessions cover not only the PCI DSS requirements, but provide updates around the latest industry and technology developments. It includes coverage of the recently released v2.0 of the DSS standard using practical examples and workshop sessions. Onformonics provide objective and vendor agnostic content which is customized to address both Visa Europe’s objectives and specific challenges faced by the participants. Benefits for the participants include but are not limited to local delivery at a convenient time and place at a price point in line with local market rates.
