Technical Controls & Requirements of PCI DSS. Presentation to Serbian Chamber of Commerce

This week saw the Onformonics trainers present in both Bosnia and Serbia. Onformonics were invited to Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia, to deliver a one-day presentation to members of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The invited members represented many of the regions’ acquiring banks and issuing institutions, who are already aware of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, and wanted to focus on the technical controls and requirements rather than the enforcement and application of the Standard.

To meet this need Onformonics developed a custom presentation that provided additional background information, covering the impact of the soon-to-be-released PCI DSS v2.0, as well as details of the technical requirements, which could be delivered in one day.

Following the main presentation, Onformonics delivered an additional presentation entitled “The Journey – Achieving and Maintaining Compliance.” Both presentations were extremely well received with a number of organisations stating that they will look to adopt many of the key take-aways from our presentations.

Onformonics deliver training on the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) as the official Visa International Training Partner as well as in partnership with national and internal events management companies around the world.
