Overview

The Visa PCI DSS Training is a highly sought after course by those professionals looking to be prepare for either running successful PCI compliance projects or implementing the technical elements contained in the PCI DSS (and related standards such as PA DSS and PTS). The Visa PCI DSS Training Manual used in the course served as the basis for the QSA (Qualified Security Assessors) Training Course Material developed by the PCI SSC and fully covers all topics included on the QSA certification exam. The course is led by the Lead Risk Manager for PCI DSS and PA DSS at VISA CEMEA (Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) and an experienced payment security auditor and information security specialist who has conducted over 75 Gap Analysis or On-site Validation Assessments to date.

A good proportion of the seminar is focused on technical issues which should be of great interest to executives with technical knowledge such as  CSOs, CIOs and experienced security professionals, software developers, IRT members, or similar.

Several modules (principally on day 1) are also useful for non-technical managers, such PCI program managers and compliance managers, as they cover key issues such as the Impact and consequences of data breach, relationships with industry standards, compliance & validation, understanding compliance levels, Risk, Compliance, IT Governance and an overview of PCI requirements amongst other key topics.
